Ogorogile Nong

To be a shaman is to walk between worlds; navigating the space where the meta meets the physical. Driven by Taoist thought and esoteric philosophy, my work approaches the divine not as an abstract ideal, but as an active teacher unlocking personal self-gnosis.

I craft my artwork as magical implements and etheric portals, examining how we might exist across multiple planes while choosing our state of mind. At the core of my inquiry lies a single question: H ow can art r eveal t h e t rue nat ur e of r eal i t y? By working with nature, we tap into an intrinsic magic, realizing we are both the observers and the creators of the primordial soup.

My medium is a dialogic system of collage, photography, video, and sound. Where collage demonstrates how friction creates form, photography isolates the stillness where proto consciousness awakens into self-reflection, birthing the identity.

Sound then operates as a force of dissolution, dismantling that rigid "I AM" to return us to the simplicity of raw being. Essentially my art is a total condensation of my sound. Book Of All Books | Blog
