CONVERGENCE 2025-2026 | My research is a structural investigation into light and form, conducted through a deliberate reduction of technical means. The work is realized with a Polaroid Now+, an entry-level camera designed for recreational or amateur use, which is here diverted from its original purpose and brought back to a system of analytical rigor derived from the use of precision optical instruments.

The image is never the result of an accidental event, but a plastic construction regulated by calculation. This process is based on a rigorous methodological derivation: the precision of the plates is the outcome of translating technical protocols—such as the management of parallax error and the compensation of viewing axes—onto a fixed-focal length, instant-development device.

Light acts as the primary tool to manifest the vision. The management of luminous incidences and chemical reaction times defines a methodological perimeter that guarantees the purity of the sign, protecting it from external manipulation. The corpus of works constitutes the experimental verification of a shooting protocol where technical rigor ensures the integrity of the form.

The final image stands as an objective structural datum: a synthesis of vision, optical calculation, and chemical stability that asserts its autonomy from conventional practices, bringing the observer before a pure and necessary form. Website
